Editorial use only. The newly constructed Utzon Center was opened to the public on 1 May 2008. This view is from the south/east showing the unique roof structures. The Center features work by Joern Utzon including the famous Sydney Opera House. The Center is perceived more as an exhibition and knowledge centre promoting the further development of Joern Utzon's design and architecture ideas than a museum as such. Joern Utzon grew up in Aalborg and hence this city was a logical place for such a Center to be buit in.
