Australian "Brown Onion. The bulbs grow to good marketable size and are very hard and solid, and keep well. They ripen earlier than either the Yellow Danvers or Red Wethersfield, are beautiful brown color and mild flavor. A good thing in their favor is the fact that the crop runs uniform in size and shape : nearly every plant produces a fine onion. This is the large pale yellow onion that is oflered for sale in the fruit stores and markets in the fall. It grows to a very large size ; flesh white, of mild and delicate flavor.
