Renaissance Theatre building exterior, old art deco theater & Playhouse in Knesebeckstraße, Charlottenburg, theatre was built between 1926 and 1927 by Oskar Kaufmann in an existing 1902 building that had been used as a cinema and theater. The architect von Lülsdorff did minor restorations in 1946. It was fully restored in 1985 and the glass windows of Hella Santarossa were installed. The 1911 Duck Fountain by August Gaul stands outside the theatre.
