The Peace Pagoda in Milton Keynes is a Buddhist stupa - a monument to inspire peace - built under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Japanese Buddhist monk and founder of the Nipponzan-Myohoji order. This is one of 80 built around the world and the first to be built in the Western world in 1980.
