Kenneth Whitesell, Commander, Naval Air Forces (CNAF), left, co-pilots an E-2D Advanced Hawkeye assigned to the “Black Eagles” of Airborne Command and Control Squadron (VAW) 113 during his trip to Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Point Mugu, Aug. 31. CNAF mans, trains, and equips deployable, combat-ready Naval Aviation forces for superior combat readiness. NBVC is the home of the Pacific Seabees, West Coast E-2D Advanced Hawkeyes, three warfare centers and 80 tenants.
