Slight degrees of arthritis are alsodemonstrable in both sacro iliac joints, slightly morepronounced in the Grolp 4. Bilateral. A woman aged 32 years who com-plains of pain of two weeks duration in the lumbo-sacral region. Only slight pain is elicited by pressureover the sacro-iliac articulations. There is also slightlimitation of all movements. Hyper-e.\tention of thelumbar spine causes pain radiating to the hips. The radiogram shows sacralization of both fifthlumbar transverse processes by true joints. Signs of aslight degree of arthritis can be seen at the lowerborder of the left sacro-iliac joint.
