Dangerous predator roaming gracefully in a field of flowers AFRICA CUTE shots show a cheetah roaming in a field of beautiful flowers. However, in reality, in the dangerous fields of Serengeti, Tanzania, the cheetah was scanning its surroundings for potential prey. She eventually disappeared into the bushes when she couldn’t find anything and sought shelter in the bushes when the rain started. These exciting images were captured by wildlife photographer Subi Sridharan (50) from a safe distance of a couple hundred feet. “After spotting the cheetah, I remained in its vicinity for almost an hour until rainfall commenced, prompting the cheetah to seek shelter,” he said. “Encountering cheetahs in the African plains is a common sight. What enhanced the beauty of the pictures for me was the presence of white flowers in the bush. “Witnessing the cheetah gracefully move through them was a delightful sight. “I love environmental shots like these as they provide viewers with a more comprehensive understanding of the terrain and landscape in which the animals inhabit.” ENDs
