It is dipped two or three times, until the wax coating is judged to be of the requisite thickness, when the adher- ing wax is stripped off from both sides. The sheets are now allowed to stand a couple of days to harden, when they are passed between the rollers of the requiring only a little trimming to be fit for use. The sheets run from 5 to 8 square feet to the lb., the thicker sheets being by the Bees most quickly made into.
