As part of the "Waste Strategy", househol 240 litre black bins are being collected and replaced with a smaller 140 litre bin. To mitigate the smaller capacity, recycling collections became weekly in 2017. Households that require more capacitythan 140 litres can request an additiona l140 litre bin.
