Offers were made for concessions of the kind usuallyfound in amusement parks which would have representedan income of several thousand dollars. Purchasers of theseprivileges would naturally have been compelled, in orderto show a profit on the right side, to have grafted the com-panys patrons for an amount sufficient to pay for the priv-. Thecompany sells the privilege for a fixed sum, reserving theright to cancel the lease at any time and demanding of thelessees that the dance feature be conducted in a manneragreeable to the company. The refreshment stands andbowling alleys are fully provided with modern equipmentand are operated by responsible individuals on the profit-sharing basis. The company supervises the general conductof these enterprises and guarantees the public city pricesand the highest character of service.
