Here's a spooky site - a deserted funfair. Not derelict, but seen at dawn, the only time you will see it like this. It's at Rye Farm Fields by the banks of the Thames at Abingdon on a fine summer morning. This is a Waltzer, a rotating ride that often forms the centerpiece of English and Irish Fairs. It's a type of carousel, and also known as a Whirlygig. So there.
