An air rifle with a butt stock reservoir, Joseph Hamerl, Vienna, circa 1720/30. Two-stage barrel (reblued), octagonal breech section, then round after a baluster, with smooth bore in 10 mm calibre and a brass front sight. Signed, "Ioseph Hamerl" on the breech. Simulated flintlock with light engraving and the signature "Ioseph. Hamerl in Wienn". Half walnut forearm with horn nosecap.
