Gilt-bladed bronze goblin with putti warming to a flame, Gilt-bronze goblin. The scalloped part of the base carries a cylindrical base on which an oil lamp with flame. At the bottom of the pedestal are two leaf leaves and two acanthus leaves on top, as a seat for putti that warm themselves to the flame. A straight piece with openwork leaf and flower motifs leads to a small square section, adorned with leaf rosettes and tendrils, which carries upward acanthus leaves. Finish with rosettes, egg frame and leaf motifs., anonymous, Paris, c. 1780 - c. 1790, bronze (metal), gilding, h cm × w 49.
