Prohibition whiskey prescription, July 1925. This prescription was issued during Prohibition in the USA (1920-1933), when the sale and purchase of alcoholic drinks was banned. It was still permissible, however, for doctors to prescribe spirits and liquors for medicinal purposes, and special prescription forms, such as this one, were produced for this purpose. This prescription is for whiskey, and prescribed in Terrell, Texas.
