Calligraphic drawing declaring that 'The Pen is mighty and so are our Bayonets,' presented to President-elect Abraham Lincoln in 1861. The drawing, also featuring an eagle with the words, 'The Constitution or the Sword! Our American Union Whole!' on its wings was completed by Seth D. Hayden and and Henry C.
