This image may not be used to state or imply ESA endorsement of any company or product Meridiani Planum, Mars Express colour-coded elevation model. This image was created using a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) with elevation colour-coded from purple (lowest elevations) through blue, green, yellow and red to beige and white (highest elevations). The data was obtained by the High-Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on Mars Express, on 1 September 2005 during orbit number 2097. Mars Express is a European Space Agency spacecraft that has been orbiting Mars since December 2003.
