Air Force Capt. Jonathan Bucey, Pilot Training Next instructor pilot, was part of Air Education and Training Command’s first iteration of the PTN initiative to explore and potentially prototype a training environment that integrates various technologies to produce pilots in an accelerated cost-efficient, learning-focused manner. Data from the six-month long initiative will be used to refine the Air Force’s scientific measuring capability and teaching techniques, while meeting the needs of the learner, in order to produce the best Air Force pilots.
