R33 airship at her mooring mast. The R33 was a British rigid airship built for the Royal Naval Air Service during the First World War. R33 first flew on 6 March 1919, and went on to serve successfully for ten years. She survived being torn from her mooring mast in a gale in 1925, and was finally broken up in 1928.
