Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Tomsk Electromechanical Plant" - a defense enterprise in Tomsk. The number of employees approximately 400 people. Tomsk Electrotechnical Plant began operations in the Tomsk region in 1942. The company was established by order of the People's Commissariat of electrical March 10, 1942, the first name: "Tomsk plant radiomashin". Order of People's Commissar of elektro-industrial plant of the USSR was given a numbered title - "The Federal Plant № 690". Order of the Ministry of Electrical Industry of the USSR in 1989, closed the name was lifted and left only the open - Tomsk Electromechanical Plant. In 1966 and 1976 for his significant contribution to the realization of important state programs, including, and exploration of outer space, the plant was twice awarded the Order of Red Banner of Labor.
