About most places there is only apotting shed, which is a storehouse for all kinds of things. Suchplaces, too, are often unfit for the reception of plants, and areuncomfortable for those who are compelled to work iu and convenience are points which should be consideredin erecting potting houses of all kinds—comfort as regardsinterior ariangements, and convenience as respects having. them situated close to where they most needed. The shedform admits of no choice of a site except that afforded in someout-of-the-way place. A potting house, should, however,be ei-ected like any other glass structure.
