An exterior view of a LAPEYRE store in Lapeyre chain of stores will be sold to the German industrial holding company Mutares. The Saint-Gobain group is negotiating with the German holding company Mutares to sell its “LAPEYRE” brand. On Monday, May 10, a hearing at the Paris Commercial Court was held to examine the approval of the sale. The final decision is expected to be made on June 1, 2021. More than 700 job cuts could take place in the group of 3,500 employees which could close four of the ten factories and 19 stores of the group's 126.
