The training focused on the squad’s ability to work as a cohesive unit while using AAV-7 Amphibious Assault Vehicles and M1A1 Abrams tanks to effectively eliminate enemy targets. Elements of the 15th MEU are ashore in Kuwait for sustainment training to maintain and enhance the skills they developed during their pre-deployment training period.
