As Kimmins (1940) noted, these are similar in most species of Kempyninae, and reference to Fig. 2B demonstrates that K. falcatus constitutes no exception. Most of the apparent differences from K. crenatus are due to positioning. However, the hypandrium internum (Fig. 2D) is broader, with the winglike lobes fused on the mid- line, while they are separate to the base in K. crenatus. Distribution.
