A silver tankard with lid, Nuremberg, circa 1660/70 Silver, partially gilt. Cylindrical body on three claw-and-ball-feet. Three surrounding cartouches with depictions of landscapes between acanthus leaves. Hinged lid with hammered depictions of landscapes, the top knob in the form of a fruit on a pierced decorative plate. Pierced thumb lever in the shape of tendrils. Lid and bottom with master's mark Mühle (mill), proofmark of Nuremberg and assayer's zigzag mark. Height cm, weight 685 g.
