Two sprayed rows yielded seventy-one and one-half baskets of marketable fruit, while fiveuntreated rows yielded one basket of marketable fruit.^^ Comparing the yield from the untreated rows, andestimating it at one-third basket per row, which is morethan was actually obtained, the net income from a singletreated row was one hundred times as great as from anuntreated row.
