Apparatus, restraint: This is contained in a locked wooden box,and consists of a bed strap which is firmly fastened to the bed beforethe patient is placed upon it; a breast strap which fastens the patientto the bed strap and bed, anklets, wristlets, a muff, and a set of keys,by which the buckles of the apparatus can be locked (Fig. 208).
