The Coast Guard urges mariners to exercise caution transiting the Humboldt Bay Channel inner entrance between navigational aids “7” and “11” (as shown in graphic) as conditions are changing, Feb. 28, 2019. Coast Guard crews and mariners are observing breaking waves in the channel near the charted position of Buoy “9” which is no longer on-station due to the conditions in the area.
