The pup explores the beach. Norfolk, UK: THESE ADORABLE images show a cute baby seal yawning as it gets ready for bed on its beach home. One image shows the little pup tucking in its fins and yawning as it snuggles into the sand for the night. The Atlantic grey seal hauls itself onto UK beaches to give birth to their pups. The mothers lose up to 143 pounds during the pup season as they support the pup. The pup can gain up to 66 pounds in two weeks. These images were taken by HR officer and photographer Becca Fulcher in Norfolk using a Canon 5D Mark IV camera. ?I spend a lot of time lying in one location and position watching the seals and learning their behaviours,? said Becca. ?The fur that pups are born with isn?t waterproof and any interference with the pups by getting too close or unsettling them can lead to the mothers abandoning their pups, the next result is either the pup then has no food source or wanders closer to the water and sadly drowns. ?By appreciating my responsibility as a wildlife photographer, I want to capture those moments that show innocence and vulnerability. ?There are a lot of photographers that start with wildlife and don?t fully understand their part in the responsibility of what could happen next and its really important to share this. ?I was proud to be part of a moment and proud of my mediadrumimages/BeccaFulcher
