All manufacturers who put their names on the best merchandise that ma-terials, machines, and labor can produce,as do the Rockfall Woolen people, deservea blue ribbon whether they make erminerobes or equine apparel. Bernard F. Merriam, Joseph Merriam,and Robert W. Merriam are now president,treasurer and secretary, reipectively. Theirprogress has been unspectacular; they have,as they say themselves, simply had a fortu-nately chronic case of stick-to-it-iveness .Their blankets are liberally dealt in every-where east of the Rocky Mountains and thegrowing demand has lately brought theirproduction figures up to 150,000 blanketsor 1,000,000 pounds of material perannum. Their plant comprises ten sets of cards,2000 spindles and sixty broad looms. Theyemploy about 1 30 workers.
