Working with our partners at Mt. Baker Ski Area our WSDOT Shuksan maintenance crews did some blasting on the Galena slide area on Jan. 18. LOTS of Cascade concrete style snow (wet, heavy and sticky) slid down. The red tips on the snow equipment are about 10-feet off the ground.
