Nursery stock Pennsylvania Philadelphia Catalogs; Flowers Pennsylvania Catalogs; Vegetables Pennsylvania Catalogs; Seeds Pennsylvania Catalogs. BLACK RED GAME STAG. BLACK-BREASTED RED GAMES. The Black-Breasted Red Games most nearly resemble the original Game fowls, and are well known to every fancier. In the cocks of this variety, the breasts and thighs are a bluish-black, the tail greenish-black; the hackle and saddle orange-red ; the coverts on shoulders dark red. The general color of the hen is a partridge brown, with a fawn- colored breast; hackle a dark-reddish color, with dark stripes. They are remarkable for hardiness of constitu- tion, early maturity and fine flavor of meat. They are layers, good mothers, and young chicks are easily reared, the hen facing any danger to protect her young. They are of great beauty of form (as shown in our illustra- tion), splendid carriage, very handsome and of unflinching courage. As a table fowl, they are of the best. Single cock or cockerel, $ ; pair, $ ; trio, $ Eggs for hatching, ^ per 13 ; $ per 26. BLACK-RED GAME BANTAMS. The demand for these miniature Games last year far ex- ceeded oi^r expectations, and our entire surplus was sold long before the season was over. In color and style they are the same as the B. B. Red Games, but of a diminutive size. They are exceedingly handsome, saucy and independent. Their laying qualities are good, and they make very hand- some and profitable little pets. Single cocks, $ ; pair, $, trio, $ Eggs, per 13, $; per 26, $ MAMMOTH BRONZE TURKEYS. These are the largest of all Turkeys, and on account of their mammoth size, hardiness and richness of plumage are by far the most profitable breed. They are the leading variety with those who raise Turkeys for the market. Gobblers two years old will weigh 30 to 40 fl)s., and we have seen them to weigh 45 lbs.; adult hens, 14 to 18 lbs. L
