The distal extremity shows a convex facet on the forwardand medial margin for the radius, and a small saddle-shaped surfacebetween that and the styloid process, which, together with the styloidprocess, articulates with the cuneiform. The posterior portion of thestyloid process articulates also with the pisiform. NO. 10 TILLODONTIA—GAZIN In Tillodon fodiens the distal portion of the shaft represented isconsiderably more robust, less flattened, and the large styloid processextends relatively farther distally. MANUS The tillodont forefoot is rather well represented among specimensfrom the middle Eocene. The type of Trogosus grangeri includes. A speci-men regarded as representing Trogosus hyracoides, No. 18982,from the Bridger, includes most of the left manus, and there are por-tions of the forefoot in the material belonging to the type of Tillodonfodiens.
