Proboscis well developed : palpi upturned, the 2nd joint reacliing vertex of head, the 3rd moderate ; antenme of male bipectinate, with moderate branches dilated at extremity and ending in a bristle ; tibiae witb tbe spurs moderate ; abdomen with lateral tubercles lo 1st segment. Fore wing with vein 3 from well before angle of cell; 5 from just below middle of discocellulars; G from upper angle ; 7, S, 9, 10 stalked ; 11 from cell. Hind wing very narrow, with the cell very long; vein 2 from before angle of cell; 3 aud 5 separate at origin ; 4 absent; 0, 7 from upper angle. Sect. I. Hind wing very minute and distorted with a costal fold, and the inner area forming a long laminate folded process containing tufts of hair and separate almost from base. A.
