Scheveningen beach, The Hague, The Netherlands. Sunday 8th August, 2021. Hundreds of ‘New-age’ protesters gathered to chant, dance and beat their drums on the sea-front of The Hague, as the weather changed from wind to sun, and then a brief downpour of rain. Undeterred, the gatherers were in a jubilant mood, as they kept-up a continuous wall of sound from the beat of their drums. The organizer Dennis Vessies, is quoted as saying: "When the earth is ravaged and the animals are dying, a new tribe of people shall come unto the earth from many colors, classes, creeds, and who by their actions and deeds shall make the earth green again.
