We, the farmers of this vicinity•will have to have our cows tested un-der the tuberculin process, or we willnot be allowed to deliver our milk tothe city milkmen, to be offered forsale. They have appointed a veterin-arian to make the tests for us, and wewill be charged from two to five dol-lars per head. Now will we have to payany sum they ask or is there a fixedstate price? Are we obliged to pay theexpense at all? We object to the cityordinance compelling us to submit tothe test and inspection and pay thecharge for the same. We consider itan imposition to submit to their clauseprohibiting the sale of our milk unlessthe cows have been inspected.
