SANTA RITA, Guam (March 29, 2019) Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Mario Miano assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 2, Det. Guam, heaves a mooring line after completing a live fire exercise underway on Mark VI patrol boats in Apra Harbor, Guam. CRS-2 Det. Guam, assigned to Coastal Riverine Group 1, Det. Guam, is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. Further, it provides additional capabilities of port security, embarked security and theater security cooperation around the 7th Fleet of operations.
