Thesurface of the corolla appears reticulate, and alsoshows a depressed midrib, which forms a ridge on theouter surface. In the evening the flowers exhale adelicious perfume, which pervades the atmosphere inthe vicinity of the plants. The whole plant, exceptthe inner surface of the corolla, is covered with hairs,.
