Recently is has been recorded from 3 loc. in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, viz. N. of Cheticamp Island (twice), 40_5o m., and Cape Gaspe ( of Anticosti), 60 m. (Shoemaker, Contrib. Canad. The "Ingolf" has secured the species at two stations, viz. : 63°3o'N., 54°25' W., 1096 m., or 63°5i'N., 53°03'W., 260 m.
