The Lantern of the Dead (Saint Bernard Tower) which dominates the market town of Sarlat in the French Dordogne.


The precise purpose of this 12th Century building which dominates Sarlat is unknown but it has been used as a Chapel and a burial ground, and more latterly a powder-room after the French Revolution.
