Sgt. 1st Class Tom Lindsey, a guitar player in The Volunteers, an ensemble from the Army Field Band, tunes his guitar before performing at the Central Florida Tough Mudder event, Nov. 7, in Palm Bay, Fla. The band performs at various events telling the Army story through rock, pop, country and patriotic music. The Tough Mudder brings people together to engage in a series of challenges that not only pushes participants to their physical limits, but tests their mental grit to get through the obstacles.
