Robin Proctor's Scar, or as it was formerly known - Norber Scar is situated near the village of Austwick near settle in the Yorkshire Dales. The rock is surrounded by traditional Yorkshire scenery with dry stone walls, derelict barns and diverse wildlife. It has been redeveloped as a sport climbing crag which in the past was home to a handful of very serious mid-grade routes. The view from the crag is one of the best in the Dales and the quick drying nature of the rock and sunny aspect should ensure the Scar's popularity.
