The wedding of Jerome Bonaparte, 22nd August 1807 (1882-1884). Jerome Bonaparte, the youngest brother of Napoleon, was made King of Westphalia by him in1807 . He married Princess Catharina Frederica of Wurttemberg at the Royal Palace at Fontainebleau, France. The marriage was arranged by Napoleon, who believed that marrying a German princess would increase the new king's legitimacy.
