For the most part they are grown in water in fancy bowls, with just enough pebbles around them to keep them from toppling over. They can also be grown in pots in soil, sand, prepared fibre or moss. We annually import from China a large quantity of the finest quality bulbs, and if planted on arrival (about October 1st) they will flower by Christmas, and a succession of flowers can be had by making several plantings. The white and yellow flowers are borne in clusters, and are highly scented. Large Bulbs, 12 cts. each; $ per doz. Original baskets, containing 30 bulbs, $ Mammoth Bulbs.
