Crump andMargaret James, and was born March18, 1860, at Herriman, Salt Lake coun-ty; he was baptized when about eightyears old; received an ordinary com-mon school education; was ordained aDeacon and Teacher successively; was 570 LATTER-DAY SAINT ordained an Elder in 1879; marriedMiss Lovina Kidd Nov. 6, 1879; acted asa Ward teacher in Herriman; i^movedto Riverton in 1SS3; lived there till1888, when he removed to San Luisvalley, Colorado; he lived in Manassa,where he acted as a Sunday school. teacher and in other positions; re-turned to Herriman, Utah, in 1892, andsettled permanently in Bluff Dale Wardin 1893. Here he labored diligentlyas a Ward teacher, a Y. M. M.
