P. lundbecki from Valkenburg. When considered along with males from England and France it is evident that this hair palisade extends from to Ix the length of the mid tibia in the males of what is clearly a single variable species. In the only available female it just exceeds the length. Having failed to find a reliable distinction between the two species, I herewith formally synonymise P. lusitanus with P. lundbecki. Critical features are depicted in Figs 24-30. Material examined: Male, The Netherlands, Valkenburg, H.
