While many prefer single flowers on account of their generally more artistic form, others like the double forms as being more last- ing when used as cut flowers; both have their uses, and this new variety will in a measure please both, the flowers, while double, being quite free and graceful; grows about 4 feet high ; flowers 3 inches across, of a bright golden- yellow 10' Double White Miniature. A new double, nearly white sort. A certain proportion of the seedlings produce semi - double flowers, which are as desirable as the com- pletely double form. In habit of growth and profusion of flower it is identical to the well-known single variety â â . 1 .S 2698 Miniature Sunflower. SWEET WII^I^IAM (London Tufts). A well-known, attractive, free-flowering hardy peren- producing a splendid effect in beds and shrubbery ith their rich and varied flowers. The plants are of robust, bushy habit, produc- ing numerous stems sur- mounted by immense umbels of full, double flowers, many of the individual flowers meas- uring over 1 inch in diameter.
