The deceased Syed Ateeq who was a second year student of Rangers College was killed during a controversial police shootout on 7/10/2016 when he did not stop his motorcycle despite a warning from the personnel. On the other hand, no criminal record of the student killed in an alleged police encounter has been found. A case has been registered against the police personnel on behalf of the youth’s family in Gulshan police station.
