London, England - 2008; We Brits welcome an opportunity - any opportunity - to put one over on our esteemed continental neighbours, the French. We have over 1000 years of experience, so we've got quite good at it. And we like going BIG when we have the chance. Hence Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column. Needless to say, they commemorate the giant, definitive sea battle in 1805 when Nelson and the Royal Navy scuppered Napoleon's megalomaniac plans for world domination at the battle of Trafalgar. You can't really miss this, can you?
