Villa Mansi, near Lucca, Italy. In 1634, Muzio Oddi of Urbino remodelled a previous villa in Mannerist style, adding a second story to the central part, and eight statues between Doric columns on the two upper levels. In 1742 the symmetrical double staircase was added, along with balustrade and statues at roof level.
