Wood, a popular and hon-ored Danielson, entered into equal part-nership with Mr. Palmer in the real-estate business,and they have built up one of the largest agenciesin eastern Connecticut. Mr. Palmers latest success, in which he takesenthusiastic interest and justifiable pride is as presi-dent of the Occidental Development Co., whichmay be best described in the words of an articlewhich was reprinted in the Windham CountyTranscript, of Danielson, Conn., Oct. 24, 1901. Redding and his two sons. The followingDecember the Fraction group was purchased, nearIdaho Springs, and development work October, 1900, Manager Redding began nego-tiations to secure the now famous coal lands, andduring the fall and winter located and laid claimto 720 acres of Government land, which, after care-ful survey, the company purchased. At the sametime he also located and purchased forty acres ofuranium ground in Montrose county, Colo., alsosome copper claims in the same locality.
